Fleet Plans - Overview

A simple way for car washes to manage fleets

Our Fleet Management feature makes it easy to set up and manage fleet plans. Fleet owners can securely add and remove vehicles, get barcodes sent automatically, and handle billing however they prefer—credit card or not. It also supports tax-exempt vehicles and numbered trucks, giving businesses the flexibility they need.

Since it’s built into the Customer Portal, everything is in one place, making fleet membership effortless for both car washes and their customers. Whether you’re running a wash or managing a fleet, this feature helps keep things organized and running smoothly without the usual headaches.

This article will walk you through Fleet creation, plan management, and billing.

1. Create Fleet items in your Point of Sale (POS)

At this time, Rinsed Fleet Programs are supported for DRB only.

If you're looking to set up Fleet Plans with Rinsed, start by contacting your Customer Success Manager! Your CSM will provide you with instructions that you can send to your Point of Sale provider to create the necessary items. Once the POS setup is complete, you are ready to create your first Fleet Program!

2. Assign User Permissions

Any users who will be creating Fleet Programs, or managing the settings of your Fleet, must be assigned as Admins or Fleet Managers. We also recommend granting the Agent role to any users who will be managing Fleet accounts on behalf of customers, so that they can access any Tickets related to Fleet management.

For user management instructions, see User Roles.

3. Create a Fleet Program

A detailed Fleet Program Setup Guide can be found here.

4. Post your Fleet Program online

When your Fleet Program settings have been saved, you can test the Fleet Program checkout form using the Test it out button, or you can copy the HTML snippet and embed it on your website.

Once posted online, your customers will see a checkout form similar to the one below, where they'll be prompted to enter the number of vehicles, plus Fleet Manager contact information and Billing.

As soon as a fleet account has been purchased, a temporary barcode will be generated for every vehicle in the fleet. To complete the setup process, the fleet manager will be taken to the Customer Portal, where they'll assign each temporary barcode to a vehicle.

Fleet Management

The next step is for the carwash operator or the fleet owner to assign barcodes. A detailed guide to vehicle assignment and general fleet management, see Managing Fleets in Customer Portal

Fleet Billing

Rinsed Fleet Plans support both credit card and non-credit card billing for added convenience. For more details, see Fleet Billing.
