Push Notifications are now available for Rinsed Customer App! 

How to create a push notification 

    1. In Rinsed CRM, click Marketing > Scheduled Messages
    2. Click Actions > New push notification
    3. Similar to a standard Scheduled Message, you can now select:
  1. Audience - who this push notification should be sent to. (Notification will be sent to all audience members who have push notifications enabled).
  2. Send at time - When you want the notification to go out.
  3. Subject - Text that will appear bolded at the top of the notification
  4. Body - The body of the notification. 
  5. Enable short links - option to shorten any included links (which enables link tracking)
  6. Image - attach an image, if desired. If not, leave blank.
  7. Voucher type - select a voucher type to attach a voucher code image, if desired. If not, leave blank.
  8. Click Schedule push notification once completed.

To send a test push notification

  1. Set up the push notification by following the steps above. If you want to keep it in a "draft" state, simply leave the Send at blank.
  2. Hover over Send Test and enter the phone/email of the person you want to send a test to.

Additional Notes

  • Audience members must have push notifications enabled in order to receive notifications. Customers will see the option to enable notifications once they have installed the app.
  • Push notifications can be used with any audience. If there are contacts within the audience that do not have push notifications enabled, they will not receive the notification.
  • The "Send test" functionality will only work if the recipient has already enabled Push Notifications.
  • Push notifications are unlimited and are included with the cost of the Customer App add-on. There is no additional cost for push notifications themselves.
