2024 May - Product Releases

All product changes that occurred in May of 2024.

General Platform:

  • Rinsed has acquired Ignite Wash: This combination is aimed to accelerate our goal of driving increased lifetime value across every interaction a car wash has with its customers and helping car wash operators of all sizes delight their customers and grow their revenue.
  • Notification Alerts: You might start seeing notifications appearing at the top of your screen while using our platform. We've implemented a new internal system designed to enhance communication with our customers. Here are the types of banners and notifications you can expect: updates on new features, notifications of internal or external outages, alerts for voucher code errors, invitations to events and more. You can dismiss any notification easily by clicking on “hide” in the top right corner.

Marketing:

  • Text delivery status update: Delivery statistics now show when messages are queued up due to rate limiting. Limits on how many messages you can send primarily exist to prevent spam and ensure quality of service. Messages that are queued will also show up in the count on the scheduled messages list page.
  • Short Code Keywords: You can now see what short code is tied to which contact list. If a Keyword is connected to a contact form, we now show it in a couple of places within the platform.

Tickets:

  • Downsell Plans Update: In the downsell plans admin, we've included a link to the "member benefits" management page to simplify updating the first screen a customer sees when going through the cancellation flow. You also have the option to add an HTML responsive image in this section.

Rinsed Inbox:

  • Default greetings added: Rinsed Inbox is a feature included with your Rinsed subscription and can be accessed through the platform. Here you can communicate with your customers via email, chat, or text. Any responses to texts you send out will appear in the inbox so you can have visibility of the messages. Inactive Rinsed Inboxes have been updated to include a default greeting message if they did not have one before. This message will automatically send to customers that respond to text messages you send out. You can customize your message via the Inbox settings. Please note that existing default greetings remain unchanged by this update, and no new default greetings have been added to active Inboxes.
