Checkout Form Locator

Streamline your online sales with Checkout Form Locator

With the Checkout Form Locator, your customers can easily navigate to the Checkout Form that applies to their nearest location. Instead of searching through dozens of location options, customers simply type in their city or zip code, select the location, and automatically land on the correct Checkout Form.

What it Looks Like

Once the Checkout Form Locator is embedded on your website, customers will have their location approximated based on their IP address, or they can manually enter a city/state/zip code. Upon entry, they'll be shown a set of relevant locations. From there, they can click the location to be taken to the appropriate checkout form for that site.

Test it out!

You can try the Checkout Form Locator for yourself at this link. Use Bellaire, TX or zip code 77401 for testing.

How to Set Up Checkout Form Locator

Prerequisites

  1. Ensure each location has latitude/longitude coordinates. To verify:
    1. Click Settings > Locations
    2. Select the location (click the name, not the edit button)
    3. Check if the Coordinates field has coordinates listed, like so:

      1. If the coordinates are missing, double check that the location has address information listed. To do this, go to Settings > Locations > Edit and enter the Address, City, State, and Postal Code. Save changes.
      2. All users with the Admin role have access to edit Location information.
2. Ensure each location has a configured "Checkout Form." This is the form that the customer will be sent to for a given location. To add a Checkout Form for a location:
    1. Click Settings > Locations > Edit
    2. Scroll to Checkout Form
    3. Select the applicable checkout form from the dropdown list

3. Double check that there is a simple and legible Display Name for each location.

The Display Name is what will appear in the locator results, so it should be easy for the customer to recognize. If there is no Display Name set, we will default to using the Name field.

To edit a Display Name:

    1. Click Settings > Locations > Edit
    2. Enter a display name in the Display name field
    3. Click Update Location

Embedding the form locator

The Checkout Form Locator can act as a one-stop-shop for your standard checkout forms, rather than having separate web pages for different locations.

If you are using the locator, you will embed the Checkout Form Locator iframe on your website rather than embedding the standard Checkout Form iframes.

The HTML snippet for the Checkout Form Locator can be found in the Checkout Form edit page under Embed > Checkout Form Locator.
