Processing Incomplete Tickets

An overview of how to process incomplete tickets in Rinsed

What is an Incomplete Ticket?

An Incomplete ticket is a ticket that Rinsed could not associate with a membership in the database.

What causes an Incomplete Ticket?

First, “allow incompletes” must be toggled on in your ticket form:

Next, a customer submits a ticket with information that does not match any memberships in your database.
When this happens, they’ll see a message like this on the ticket form prior to submitting the ticket:

If the customer clicks “Submit Incomplete”, then the ticket will populate as “Incomplete” in Rinsed.

Where do I find all Incomplete Tickets?

Navigate to tickets>incomplete tickets

How do I process an Incomplete Ticket?

First, select an Incomplete Ticket in Rinsed to process

Then, use the Rinsed Member Search to try to find a membership that matches the information submitted on the ticket.

As you can see, there is a member with the name “Gino Nickole” in the database.

Now, we need to compare the information submitted on the ticket with the information in the database. Doing this let’s us know if the customer mis-entered any information.

Upon inspection, it appears that the customer mis-entered their barcode as “51030+221172” instead of ““51030+221173”

Now that we know the correct barcode, we can edit the incomplete ticket with the proper information:

After we updated the ticket with the proper information, we can see in “all tickets” that Rinsed again attempted to cancel the membership, and this time it worked!

That’s it—we’re done!
