This article outlines the steps to setup a rewards loyalty program
Our new Reward Loyalty feature can be found by navigating to Marketing > Reward Loyalty Program in The Car Wash CRM, where you can create and customize your Reward Loyalty Program.
Before You Begin
Before setting up your Rewards program, you’ll want to make sure to:
- Upload any voucher codes/free wash codes that you plan to use as rewards, under Marketing > Vouchers
- Create discount plans you intend to use as rewards in your POS, and expose them to the API
Program Opt-in
The Program Opt-in section is where you’ll create an opt-in form for your customers to enroll into the Loyalty Program.
Aside from creating the form, you can edit the Opt-in Confirmation message (required), and retrieve the link and/or HTML code to share or embed your form.
Please Note: The "Automatically opt in members" checkbox will opt- in and send the confirmation message to all members the day after it is enabled.
Earning Points
The Earning Points section allows you to create a customized experience for your customers to earn points. Here, you can also adjust the confirmation message that is sent out when customers earn points (not required).
By selecting Add ways to Earn, you can choose from various ways of earning points based on spend, opting-in, promotions, referrals, and also award discretionary and birthday points.
After selecting a way of earning points, you can customize who is eligible to receive these points, Name the Earnings by spend (be very specific as this is what customers will see) and specify the Number of Points per Dollar Spent.
Redeeming Points
In this section you can create rewards that can be redeemed by your retail customers and members, as well as the confirmation messages they receive upon redemption.
Rewards for both Vouchers and Plans can be added by clicking Add Reward. Here you can Name your reward, select the reward type, and add the Cost in Points. Once a Reward Type is selected, you can link the corresponding Plan or Voucher to the reward.
Expiring Points
In this section you can define when points will expire. You can Edit Expiration Confirmation Message (this is a required message), and define when points expire and when users will be reminded of upcoming point expiration.
Customer Portal View
In the Customer Portal, your customers will be able to see their total points, which rewards they are eligible for, and their progress toward those rewards. Once they have accrued enough points, they can redeem rewards directly through the portal.
Customers can also view a history of their reward earnings under Activity.
