Manually Opting Customers Out Of SMS Messages
A guide on how to opt customers out of SMS messages in Rinsed.
A customer can opt out of messages sent by Rinsed by texting the following words in response to a message they receive:
- stop
- stopall
- unsubscribe
- cancel
- end
- quit
If you want to manually opt a customer out of Rinsed texts, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to Tickets> SMS Opt Outs

2) Navigate to Actions> New SMS Opt Out

3) Type in the phone number of the customer you wish to unsubscribe and click "Create SMS Opt Out."

4) That's it, you are done! You can view all opted out phone numbers on this page. Note: This will opt the customer out of all Rinsed text messages. If a customer wants to opt back in you can remove them from this list or they can text "start" to the number they received a Rinsed text message from.
