Campaign Messages

An overview of the campaign message functionality in Rinsed

campaign message is an ongoing message based on a dynamic audience at a set cadence. A series of sequential campaign messages is called a Drip Campaign.

Use Cases For Campaign Messages:

  •  A "welcome email" that gets sent to all new members the day after they sign up for their membership. 
  • A credit card decline message that goes out after the 4th recharge attempt. 
  • A "winback" message that is sent to former members exactly 1 month after their churn date.
  • A follow-up text sent to non-members the day after they redeem a free wash code asking how they enjoyed their visit.

To Create a Campaign Message: 

  1. Click Marketing>Campaign Messages
  2. Click Actions> New text message or new email 
    1. Text Messages:
      1. Select the Audience you would like to send your message to. Remember that this is a dynamic audience.
      2. Add in the body of your message.
      3. Schedule: select either daily or hourly. Most data updates daily by default, so we recommend leaving this as "daily."
      4. Window to prevent duplicate in days: Here you can configure how frequently you would like a particular customer to receive this message. If you would like this message to be sent to a given individual once a month, for example, you can set the window to 30. If you never want any particular individual to receive this message again, set the window to 0.
      5. When you are ready to set the message live, toggle on is active.
      6. Click Create Campaign text message.
    2. Emails:
      1. Select the audience for your email.
      2. Add an email subject.
      3. Build the body of your message
      4. Schedule: select either daily or hourly. Most data updates daily by default, so we recommend leaving this as "daily."  
      5. Window to prevent duplicate in days: Here you can configure how frequently you would like a particular customer to receive this message. If you would like this message to be sent to a given individual once a month, for example, you can set the window to 30. If you never want any particular individual to receive this message again, set the window to 0.
      6. When you are ready to set the message live, toggle on is active.
      7. Click Create Campaign email.
