      Member Offers

      An overview of use cases and setup of member offers in Rinsed

      Member Offers are a great way to drive loyalty, upsell and reward your members for their loyalty. 

      Member Offer Use Cases:

      1. Upsell 
      2. Reward/ Loyalty 
      3. Lower Tier - retaining seasonal and low usage members

      To utilize member offers, you need to configure additional plans in your POS and create Graphics (optional but recommended). Please reach out to your CSM with any questions.

      Upsell:

      Offer customers the opportunity to try a higher tiered plan at their current price point for a specific amount of months (typically 2-3 months) and then switch them into the higher tiered plan if they do not opt out before the switch occurs. Here's an example below:

      Upsell Configuration Needs: 

      • You'll want to create new plans in your POS that give access higher tiered plan, but charge at the price of the original plan
        • Example: You offer your Better Plan Members ($20/month),a chance to try your Best Plan ($30/month) for 3 months at their original price. We will need a Best Plan that charges $20/month.

      Rewards/Loyalty: 

      Reward loyal customers with a higher tier plan at no extra charge to them for a set amount of months and then switch them back into their original plan (no opt out option needed). Here's an example below:

      Reward Configuration Needs: 

      • You'll want to create new plans in your POS that give access higher tiered plan, but charge at the price of the original plan
        • Example: You are rewarding your Better Plan Members ($20/month)  with a month of your Best Plan ($30/month) for free. We will need a Best Plan that charges $20/month.
      • Customize this Loyalty Graphic Template for each reward case.

      Lower Tier:

      Offer customers a discount on their current plan for a specific amount of months and then switch them back into their original plan. The customer has an option to opt out before the switch back occurs. This is great for retaining seasonal and low usage members. Here's an example:

      Lower Tier Configuration Needs: 

      • You'll want to create new plans in your POS that give access to the original plan, but charge at the price of a discount
        • Example: You are offering your Better Plan Members ($20/month)  with a month of your Better Plan for $15/month. We will need a Better Plan that charges $15/month.
