Issuing Refunds (ICS)

Learn how to issue refunds for Rinsed-originated purchases through your Commerce Hub account.

When using Rinsed with ICS, you may need to follow a new process for issuing refunds. This is because Rinsed connects to a third party payment processor, Commerce Hub (formerly Payeezy), to process payments for online sales. 

Refunds for Rinsed-originated purchases must be issued through your payment processor. You will not be able to issue refunds for these purchases through WashConnect or through Rinsed.

To issue a refund for a Rinsed-originated purchase: 

1. In CLX for a Commerce Hub account, go to Commerce Hub > Search and locate the ePOS transactions as seen in this example:

2. Click the pencil icon next to a transaction to open up the Actioning window, where it will allow you to refund the transaction:

 

Alternatively, you can perform an open refund via the Virtual Terminal. However, these are not directly tied to the original transaction.
